- No location data
- No advertising identifiers
- No cookies

Analytics
We use PostHog, a product analytics service, to understand how users interact with the Chestie app. This helps us improve features and fix issues.
The data we collect through analytics includes: which features are used (such as opening packs, completing practice sessions, and collecting cards), session activity, and general app usage patterns.
All analytics data is collected using anonymous identifiers and is not linked to your identity. We do not collect your name, email address, IP address, or any personally identifiable information through our analytics.
Analytics data is processed by PostHog Inc. You can learn more about their privacy practices at posthog.com/privacy.
Notifications
If you enable notifications, Chestie schedules a daily local reminder on your device. This is handled entirely by iOS — no data is sent to any server to deliver notifications.
Audio content
All pronunciation audio is bundled within the app. No audio is streamed, recorded, or transmitted from your device.
Children's privacy
Chestie does not knowingly collect information from children under 13. The app does not collect personal information from any user.
Data deletion
You can delete all your data at any time by going to Settings → Reset All Data within the app. This permanently removes all locally stored information. You can also delete the app, which removes all associated data from your device.
Changes to this policy
If we update this privacy policy, we will post the revised version on this page with an updated date.
